The only thing I can say about Cara and A Moment Like This…..LIFE SAVER!! Cara began helping my fiancé and me after we began planning our own wedding. I never thought I could miss so many little details. We were so “frazzled” that we weren’t sure what to do next. When Cara came on the scene, everything was transformed immediately. She sat down with us in an afternoon and discussed with us what we wanted and what she recommended. We told her what we had done already; she then organized it and gave us a direction to go in. Cara helped with everything, from making sure there were wine glasses all the way to performing our rehearsal the night before. And to make things more difficult for her we had our dog and horse in the wedding. She was so patient with the animals, with a bride freaking out, and with making sure everything was just perfect! SHE EVEN HAD THE WEATHER TURN OUT PERFECT! I honestly have to say the stress of planning a wedding diminished greatly after Cara began to help. Dave and I appreciate everything she did to make our wedding absolutely beautiful and flawless. I would definitely recommend A Moment Like This, Inc. A Calm In The Storm….” Cara has a unique way of turning chaos into order and creating peace in the middle of a whirlwind. And what a whirlwind we had. Knowing from the start that we would spend the rest of our lives together, we never really gave a lot of thought to how and exactly when we’d make things official. Then before we knew it….. We were changing jobs, selling our houses and moving to a new state. Everything was happening so fast! The one thing we knew for sure, we wanted our families to be as one before we moved and we wanted all of our friends to be a part of it. Without Cara it never would have happened. With all the planning for the new house, new schools and the move I had no time to figure out how to pull off an impromptu ceremony. Cara was tremendous!!! Having had her help in the past I knew she would be the perfect person to help make our special day turn out just the way we wanted. What was even more unique about this time in obtaining Cara’s help, was that it was all done over the phone and emails from hundreds of miles away. You see…..Cara lived in another state, yet with all of her help it was like she was there by my side through the whole thing. We didn’t want a lot of fuss, just a simple ceremony and a way to say thank you and farewell to all the special people in our lives and have them be a part of our new journey together. Cara had the perfect idea, a surprise wedding. Everyone thought they were coming to moving away party and ended up at a wedding. It was wonderful!!! The wedding was a total surprise to our friends and family. Cara thought of everything from how to do the invitations so our friends wouldn’t know what we were up to, to what type of party favors, what type of cake and how we and the kids should dress. During our planning calls she gave great suggestions and followed up with pictures and notes from our calls via email. As a surprise for me she even made my bouquet....a simple little silk arrangement of my favorite flowers. The bouquet was beautiful and a special keepsake from this wonderful occasion. Although Cara was far away she made sure that every detail was remembered and was an essential part of creating our special day. We couldn’t have pulled off such a wonderful event without her!
